One of the world’s most sprawling cities, Perth’s outermost suburbs are getting snazzier by the day. With sparkling, turquoise waters and a growing number of stellar places to eat, drink and play – why wouldn’t you make the move south to Kennedy Bay?

The Kennedy Bay residential estate is transforming Port Kennedy, with 900 housing lots up for grabs in the new $425 million development. Lots range from larger family-sized blocks to more affordable first homebuyer and budget-friendly options – plus plenty of amenities are being developed in the area to make it a world-class coastal destination.

Liveability and lifestyle are at the forefront of the new development and fittingly for the coastal location, Kennedy Bay will feature a new public jetty and boat moorings, so you can make the most of those summers in the water.

A vibrant town centre is in the works for the 66 hectare community, which will feature a Coastal Village featuring new dining and retail spots – plus new cycle paths and parks to keep you active outside. A gem of the area is of course the golf course: already one of WA’s best, the clubhouse has already undergone its 12 month-long upgrade, with works on the course itself set to be completed in 2023.

The Links birdie Restaurant

At the centrepiece of this upgrade is the appropriately named Birdie Restaurant, where you can unwind after a long day on the links (or just pop in casually) with a coffee, refreshing beverage or slice of pizza. While you’re enjoying your post-game drink, the kids can run wild on the huge new nature playground, named the Nest. With a gigantic slide running off the seven metre tall play tower, climbing nets and bridges to scramble over, plus a log and boulder balance course, they’ll be adventuring for hours.

If you want to have a taste of the Kennedy Bay lifestyle for yourself, there will be a community event held this Sunday 21 November. Held on the lawns adjacent to the new clubhouse, you’ll be able to check out the new upgrades, including the new restaurant and playground, as well as enjoy a range of entertainment and kids activities. Attendance is limited, and you can register to attend by clicking HERE.
