This Beaconsfield Home Has Us Dreaming Of Italian Villas
Molto, molto bene. That’s what we’ve got to say about this delightful home, which we’ve had a peek inside thanks to our pals at Crib Creative.
Located on a leafy Beaconsfield block, while you’re only a five minute drive from South Beach, you’ll feel like you’re totally tucked away in your own world.
Now, it practically goes without saying – but we’re flippin’ obsessed with that rustic brick fireplace. Laid with 3500 bricks by a master craftsman, utilising traditional English brickwork techniques, the whopping whopping 4.6m chimney stands pride of place in the charming alfresco area. We’re picturing dinner parties, we’re picturing cosy fireside glasses of wine in winter, we’re even picturing some epic open flame and charcoal grilling! Hooooooo-boy! Is this Under the Tuscan Sun? Are we Diane Lane?
Also adding to the Italian villa vibes are the ample arches – which also do an impressive job of linking the alfresco area with the home’s north-facing kitchen.
While outside is rustic, the kitchen is as sleek as they come – as well as that gigantic Caesarstone island, it boasts a huge chef’s oven, matching huge 6-burner gas cooktop, plus heaps of storage.
Inside, the Euro vibes continue – not only with more arches, but that striking limestone feature wall.

Downstairs, you’ll also find the delightful guest bedroom, which opens directly onto the home’s garden. Upstairs, you’ll find three more bedrooms and a family room where you (or the kids) can unwind.
You’ve probably spied that wrought-iron balustrade? Created by a local metal craftsman, it references Tuscan wrought iron while keeping the home firmly in contemporary territory.
