Strap In, We’ve Found Another Magical Midcentury Mansion – And It’s On The Market!
It was only the other week we were admonishing ourselves for being a cliche, seemingly constantly fawning over midcentury-inspired homes. “Give it a rest!” we said to ourselves. “There are other architectural styles!”
But then, courtesy of our friends over at Crib Creative, this home came across our desks and… Again, can you blame us? Can you really blame us?
Not only is this four bedroom, three bathroom home a grand ode to a beloved architectural style, it’s also situated on one of Perth’s most sought-after streets with sweeping views over Lake Monger.
And while we’ve been known to fall in love with some homes that are a little rough around the edges, this home brings the midcentury features we love resolutely into the future, with all the luxe bells and whistles you’d hope to expect – like that absolutely stunning pool.

Inside, things only get better. At the front of the home, an large living area is surrounded by vast windows – an approachable sense of scale keeps things inviting, as does a cosy fireplace flanked by facets of quartzite slab.
Down a couple of steps into the kitchen, and more of that stunning quartzite has been utilised for a spacious kitchen island. While the kitchen itself – decked out with Siemens appliances – the scullery is where our jaws truly dropped.
With a kitchen like this, we’d be entertaining just about every night of the week – no doubt heading into the equally spacious alfresco during the summer months.
Upstairs, you’ll find three of the home’s four bedrooms. While the other bedrooms are more comfortable and stylish than most, that primary bedroom suite – overlooking the pool, with its own fireplace, luxe ensuite, decadently spacious dressing room and cosy sitting room – will knock your socks off.
