Perth-Based Artist And Tik Tok Superstar Alexandria Lee Is Launching A New Line Of Artworks

We can all fancy ourselves as art connoisseurs, but sometimes the wallet just doesn’t match up to our tastes. Local artist Alexandria Lee is changing the game while expanding her art practice, offering new and experimental works at an accessible price.

Lee has become a phenomenon over the last few years, gaining a huge social media following creating her signature artworks with handwritten text: painstakingly layering words to create portraits of iconic faces. Sometimes taking months to complete, they feature the subject’s name or quotes repeated mesmerically, sometimes even with hidden messages.

These meticulous, time-consuming works aren’t accessible to every art-lover, though – and Lee is now expanding her offerings to include BY ALX: museum-grade, exclusive limited edition drops of handcrafted artworks that explore different mediums. Affordability is the name of the game, but they’ll look a million bucks hanging on your wall.

Launching this month, you’ll have the opportunity to see Lee’s latest works up close and personal at her new studio, Wow Wow West Creative Space. Open to the public on November 27, from 10am ‘til 3pm, you’ll be able to purchase pieces in person, as well as see a live installation taking place from 10:30 to 11:30AM.
