Perth Upmarket (November 27)

The big kahuna of Perth’s design markets, Perth Upmarket has a truly staggering number of stallholders. Sprawling across UWA’s Winthrop and Hackett Halls, you can take your pick from homewares, jewellery, fashion, beauty and heaps more – all lovingly handcrafted!

Side By Side (December 2-4)

Now this market is an absolute treat, featuring the impeccably crafted wares of Kura Studio, Kaki Studio, Do Pottery, Claire Kroužecký, Namu Leather Goods and Anfisa Design. A curated collection of beautiful ceramics, artworks and other wares, we think you’ll find it hard to leave empty handed – especially when you’re in Wise Child Wine Store’s charming cellar!

Fremantle Arts Centre Bazaar (December 2-4)

The Fremantle Arts Centre’s annual Bazaar really sets the bar high for what you can come to expect from a market. Perth’s premium makers come out in full force, with bespoke homewares, jewellery, clothing, and heaps more – all in the picturesque surrounds of the centre’s grounds.

Fremantle Arts Centre Director, Anna Reece, says it best: “A feast of craft and community that is bursting with creative pride, Bazaar is so much more than a market, but a chance for people to come together, to enjoy festive music, food and drinks and to savour this special time of year that is all about giving.”

An Indigenous-Made Christmas @ Yagan Square (December 3)

Curated by award-winning creative Karla Hart, this market features a stellar roster of First Nations artisans – from art and crafts to gifts and delicious delights. Bring the whole family for Noongar face painting, dance performances, workshops, and heaps more!

Festive Market @ Perth City Farm (December 3)

Start your festive vibes bright and early at Perth City Farm’s Festive Market! As well as their signature amazing organic and biodynamic produce, there’ll be gourmet food products and hand-crafted gifts to sort out that prezzie list.

Cottesloe Village Hullabaloo (December 3)

December 3 will see Napoleon Street transform into a buzzing Christmas market for the whole family! Starting at 10AM, the Hullabaloo will bring music, entertainment, arts and craft, tasty treats and perhaps even a visit from Santa!

Fremantle SLSC Christmas Markets @ Leighton Beach (December 3)

What a combo: supporting Freo SLSC, local makers and hit the beach? We can hardly think of a better way to do our Christmas shopping! Check out some of the delightful local stallholders on the Facebook event here.

Christmas Markets @ Valley Social (December 4)

Another great combo, Valley Social (formerly Elmar’s in the Valley) is bringing the festive fun with plenty of deliciousness. As well as browsing the huge range of stalls, dig into some American-style barbecue and hit up the bar afterwards – what a great reward for all your hard work! Just make sure to book your table if you’re staying for lunch.

Christmas Markets @ Central Park (December 7-8)

Over two lovely December days head to Central Park’s lush gardens and enjoy a vibrant array of market stall holders including Christmas gifts for the whole family, artisan foods, fresh produce, food stalls, ice-cream cart, refreshments and even a festive bar seating area where you can relax and enjoy live music, Christmas entertainment and games. Central Park Christmas Markets

East End Festive Marketplace (December 9-10)

We’re particularly excited for these markets, a thoughtful collaboration between State Buildings, Fremantle Arts Centre and Second Life Market. Stallholders include the cream of the crop of Perth’s makers – including Deli Mates, Emma Buswell, Emma Lindegaard, Kura Studio, Manner Furniture, Many Peaks Assembly, Shop Shannon Malone and many many more! While you’re there, peruse the retail offerings of the State Buildings and burgeoning East End Arts Precinct – including Shari Vari Records, Edicole and Sweet Pea Arts. Ningaloo Records will be spinnings tunes in the Perth Town Hall undercroft to keep the festive vibes high, and there’ll be plenty of tasty treats from stallholders like Cono Gelato, Freo institution Peggy’s and superstar baker Natasha Brownfield.

Summer X Salt Xmas Pop Up (December 10)

We reckon the festive season goes hand in hand with the salty season here in WA, and the Christmas edition of the epic Summer X Salt Markets will definitely tick both boxes! Shaka your way down to Clarko Reserve (just next to the Trigg foreshore) and you’ll be treated to a curated line-up of artists, designers, and tasty food trucks, all with a beach-loving (and earth-loving) ethos.

Studio P Ceramics (December 11)

Leederville’s Studio P is home to a community of potters, each with their own creative flair – and they’ll be throwing open their doors for a special Christmas open studio!

Kyilla Twilight Markets (December 13)

One of Perth’s best farmer’s markets, Kyilla is putting on a special twilight market just for the festive season. Alongside 20 of Perth’s best food trucks, 60 stalls will be bringing the goods for all your Christmas shopping needs – plus there’ll be lots of fun for the whole family, with kids Christmas crafts, gingerbread decorating, live music and even a visit from the Christmas Fairy!

Local & Aesthetic (December 16-18)

We can’t think of a better accompaniment to festive shopping than a boozy brunch, and luckily the legends at Local & Aesthetic are on the same page! Their retail offering is delightfully unique year-round, so their festive markets will only take it to the next level, with even more local creators to check out!

Perth Hills Artisan Markets (December 17-18)

Perth Hills Artisan Markets is the perfect introduction to all the delights on offer in the Hills and their beautiful surrounds. The markets take place every other month, but the 17th and 18th of December sees its jam-packed Christmas incarnation, with local artisans making everything from stunning jewellery or homemade condiments to handcrafted kids toys – the perfect opportunity to grab all those last minute Christmas gifts you nearly forgot about!

Perth Makers Market (December 18)

Another must-visit in the market calendar has got to be the Perth Maker’s Market. Situated at the delightful Goolugatup Heathcote in Applecross, there will be over 150 stalls – all with amazing handcrafted wares from right here in WA. While you’re there, check out the art gallery, museum and open studios also within the cultural precinct!
