Within the industrious streets of Osborne Park, tucked away within a row of warehouses, you’ll find an unexpected delight. An oasis of calmness and tranquility, and a sanctuary away from the demands of life.

Ember Bath House, from wife and husband team Sam Rodarte and Ryan Congdon, seeks to bring the ritual of bathing to the people of Perth.

“Our space was designed for a sensorial experience,” Sam told us.

“We want people to enter and be transported into a wellness journey based on the senses; a portal into another time and place.”

Once within the space, (and your devices are turned off!) you’ll be able to indulge in the invigorating steam of their signature Hammam Ritual, inspired by the baths of Morocco.

After 15 minutes of steaming, savon beldi (black argan oil soap) is applied in an intensive exfoliation with a kessa loofah, before a rhassoul clay mask and a relaxing neck, shoulder and foot massage – followed by some mint tea, of course.

Also on offer within Ember is a hot mineral bath, Finnish sauna, ice bath, and a menu of treatments to leave you feeling restored – from Ayurvedic massages and Udvartana body scrubs to nurturing pregnancy massages or glowing facials.

Ember Bath House is located at 4 Donovan Street, Osborne Park. Officially opening on September 1, bookings are now open.
