School hols sorted: Swim into Cockburn ARC and cool off with the fam this summer

It’s that time of year… The post-festive season haze has set in, the days are getting even hotter and the kids are getting a bit antsy around the house.

Why not take a break and cool off at the Cockburn ARC? A state-of-the-art aquatic centre, just a hop skip and jump away – it’s the perfect place to be for a bit of fun these school holidays!

You’ve got multiple pools to choose from including the indoor leisure play pool with a tipping water bucket and play structure for the little ones, inflatable obstacle courses and loads more.

All of this for only $7.80pp ($6.25 for kids/concession card holders) and $22 for a family pass.

Along with just being a great place to hang during the holidays (keep an eye out for the magical face painting fairies), Cockburn ARC has a bunch of fun events and programs in January:

Freo Footy Splash

Head down on Friday 19 January from 3-6pm for a free family event in collaboration with the Fremantle Football Club! Cool off in the afternoon while the kids have some fun with face painting, roaming entertainment and DJs, with the pools and inflatables all free! Plus, you can visit neighbouring Legacy Oval to meet the players and grab an autograph.

Kids Get Active School Holiday Program

The school holiday program starts January 8 from 8am-4pm and is for kids aged 6 to 12. It includes an array of activities including basketball, dodgeball, pickleball, volleyball, touch rugby and more. Just drop the kids off for a day of fun, getting active and making friends!

Swim Clinics

There’s no better time to upskill your kids in swimming, and Cockburn ARC offers three-day swimming clinics for kids aged 7-16. There’s two clinics to choose from,  Stroke Development and Swimming Carnival – find out more and enrol your kids here.
