In case you missed the memo Western Australia got its first ever Costco Warehouse last year (one of 12 around Australia), conveniently at the onset of a global pandemic…coincidence? Yes, we assume so. If you’re not aware, Costco is essentially a membership warehouse, enabling customers to pay an annual fee for access to a massive range of products, in massive amounts and at wholesale prices. In addition to a wide range of goods you can find at Costco, they also offer a variety of other services including (at the Perth Costco): Optical and Hearing Aid centres, car tyre shops, a food court and a petrol station.

It can be a lot take in, so let us break it all down for you before head on a mission out to Perth Airport to load up on pianos or kid’s playgrounds.

How much is a membership to Costco Perth?

There are two membership options when it comes to Costco, the standard Gold Star Memberhsip ($60 per year) or the Business Memberhsip ($55 per year). As you may have guessed, the latter is only available with a registered business – get all the info HERE. Membership cards have your photo on them (so no, you can’t share them around), but you do get a household card to share with immediate family members.

Where is Costco Perth?

You’ll find the huge Costco Perth warehouse out near the Perth Airport at 142 Dunreath Dve, across the road from the equally large and consumer-driven, DFO Perth.

What can you buy at Costco?

We’re only half joking when we say that basically if you can dream it, you can probably buy it at Costco. From TVs and electronic goods, outdoor barbecues and furniture, to groceries, jewellery, kid’s toys, luggage, sports and fitness equipment… There’s no limit to what you can procure on a trip to Costco outside of the size of your car to help you drive it all home. They’re also privvy to novelty items, like humungous teddy bears, jumbo donuts and even wildly expensive diamond rings.

Or you know, if you just want a million rolls of toilet paper they’ve got that too.
