Worn by the likes of Beyoncé, Bella Hadid, Kylie Jenner, Margot Robbie and countless more celebrities, influencers and fashion darlings, Poppy Lissiman is one of WA’s most stratospheric success stories.

Her eponymous brand’s best selling bags will now be transformed thanks to a collaborative collection with Walmajarri artist John Prince Siddon, launching this week.

The trailblazing artist merges international issues with his unique perspective on Western Australia, utilising bold patterns and desert iconography across a diverse range of mediums.

“We’ve worked with Prince and pulled some abstract elements from some of his best known works to create unique prints across our best selling nylon bag range as well more literal scenarios of his painting which relate to our relationship with animals and the environment featured on our recycled cotton and post consumer plastic tote bags”, Lissiman told us.

As well as on the Poppy Lissiman website, the collection will also be available at the newly-reopened AGWA Design Store, and at the Mangkaja Arts Resource Agency – the Fitzroy Crossing arts centre where Prince works and his father, Pompey Siddon, was a founding painter.

Poppy Lissiman X John Prince Siddon is launching on Tuesday, August 9 at 5PM AWST.
