A NOR Nightclub Is Banning Red Sneakers From February
It’s the year 2023, and just when you thought nightclub dresscodes were a thing of the buttoned up shirt/shiny shoes past, one nightclub north of the river is stamping out one very particular shoe from entering their venue.

That’s right, Bar 1 Nightclub in Hillarys announced last night that red shoes (and the people wearing them, we assume) will be banned from entering the club from February 1.
The news has been met with mostly positive feedback, and we’ll leave it up to you, dear reader, as to why such a ban may even need to be implemented in the first place.
The ban comes into effect just a few days before the club shuts its doors for a few weeks, closing for some renovations leading to a “full nightclub rebirth”.
You can say goodbye to the old Bar1 Nightclub at their Renovation Party on Saturday 4 February – may we suggest leaving the red sneakers at home…
