Buy a rose for someone special and help fundraise for those living with cystic fibrosis
There isn’t much that brightens our day quicker than a fresh flower – except knowing that it’s fundraising for a great cause.
Friday, May 24 marks another 65 Roses Day, an annual fundraiser and day of awareness from Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia. The social enterprise provides essential support services, including in-home care, hospital support, equipment, subsidies, training, education sessions and more – alongside funds critical for CF research.

“The current cost-of-living crisis is hitting everyone hard, but especially our CF families, off the back of COVID,” said Cystic Fibrosis WA Chief Executive Officer Lisa Bayakly.
“They already face the challenges of daily treatment and frequent illness. Now they face increased costs of basic living on top of medications and caring for a sick child. The money we raise funds services and support at home and in the community; and helps families with the increasing costs of equipment, medication, hospital visits and crisis support.”
To get involved, head to the CFWA website and pre-order a beautiful florist-arranged bouquet before May 17 and it’ll be delivered to someone special on May 24.
You can also pick up a rose at one of the below locations on 65 Roses Day – or jump online and gift a rose that will grow in a virtual rose garden, anywhere in the world!
