They’ll be playing on Saturday 18 November, and the WA Government expects the show will drive a raft of international and interstate visitors to our shores.
“This a massive coup for Western Australia,” said Tourism Minister Roger Cook. “Apart from being a phenomenal live show and experience, Coldplay is going to attract thousands of international and interstate visitors to WA and inject millions of dollars into the State’s economy.”
Even Coldplay main man Christ Martin chimed in as part of the announcement: “We are so excited that we will be coming through Perth… We haven’t been to Australia for too long and we are so excited to come back. Can’t wait to see your smiling faces.”
Amy Shark and Thelma Plum will be supports for the show, the tickets for which go on sale next week.
Pre-sales commence 10am AWST on Monday 15 May and run until 9am the following day, before general release go live at 10am AWST – get more info via Live Nation.
