Not gonna lie, we were a little saddened to hear that Falls Festival were taking a break this year, but today’s news has put a smile on our music-loving dial.
After launching down south last year, Out Of The Woods Festival is returning to a new home in October this year, taking over Esplanade Park in Fremantle for two huge days on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October.
And we gotta say, the line up is looking like an absolutely stacked array of local, national and international artists, headlined by now-global powerhouse DMA’s, who’ll be joined by festival faves Boy & Bear, Temper Trap, Ruby Fields, Django Django (UK) and NZ duo Broods.
Chet Faker also appears as Chet Faker for the first time since 2015, alongside fellow Aussie legends Meg Mac, Montaigne, Northeast Party House, Skegss, Winston Surfshirt, Slumberjack, KLP, Kinder, Late Nite Tuff Guy and Stace Cadet.
The all-important local lineup also features some of WA’s finest emerging acts, including recent WAM Song of the Year winners Dulcie along with Project Bexx, Chela, Smol Fish, Ra Ra Viper, Grunge Barbie, Shiny Joe Ryan & The Sky Dolphins, The Psychotic Reactions, Angie Colman, Rabbit Island and more.
Keeping the party vibes going will be local crews like Homopolitan and Smoked Trout, plus the ever-reliable Ningaloo Records brings his huge crowd of groovy goodness.
The festival will also feature an awesome display of art installations, hidden treasures, secret bars and other unique activities to keep you very busy over the journey.
