Good News: The Fremantle Markets Are Reopening This Weekend!

One of the biggest drawcards in Freo would have to be its iconic Fremantle Markets, dating back over 100 years and hosting over 150 stalls.
On the corner of Henderson St and South Tce, it’s considered one of the world’s premier tourist markets, but over the past few months it has been closed down due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Fortunately, that looks set to change this weekend and this week has seen their 150-odd traders busily preparing for the markets to reopen, like Alive Juice:
Both The Yard (fresh produce) and Markets proper will be open from Friday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm (8am The Yard).
More and more of Western Australia is reopening back to normal capacity as we steam ahead along the Roadmap To Recovery, and it’s great to see another WA icon rejoin the fray.
