Fremantle Festival’s 10 Nights In Port kicked off in earnest over the weekend, and if you’ve missed out on the fun so far – fear not, there’s still plenty to get around this week.

And one of the most intriguing exhibitions/experiences has to be Claiming Space, from multi-disciplinary artists Sam Kerr-Phillips (pictured above) and Hugo Flavelle.

Part photographic exhibition, part tour, Kerr-Phillips’ becomes the publican of his very own mobile tiki bar AKA The Spaboobar, rolling around to various tourist and sub-cultural communities around town.

His mobile media chair, lighthouse trailer complete with lighting, sound system, video capture and a high powered projector in tow, displays his own world of drawings onto the city.
