All about the importance of showing up for school, the infectiously upbeat Saved by the Bell showcases the young MC’s distinctive style, intricate raps and catchy melodies. Saved by the Bell was recorded at Kwinana Beats Studio, produced by local hip-hop artists Optamus and Paulie P as part of a youth music program.
“Such a feel good hype track,” says Inkabee, real name Ethan Eggington. “It was fun to rap about and sing about pursuing my dreams and the importance of education.”
Inkabee broke onto the scene back in December of 2022 with his WAM Award-nominated debut track Beat the Odds: a poignant message of unity co-written and recorded alongside his father, award winning Nyoongar Wongi rapper and activist Flewnt.
Since then, Inkabee has been performing all over Boorloo (Perth), and is due to perform at Vivid Sydney next month.
