A New Hemingway-Inspired Café Is Giving Away Free Coffees In The CBD Tomorrow
The freshly renovated Central Park building on St George’s Terrace in the Perth CBD has just levelled up again with a brand new coffee shop – Hemingway Café.
Inspired by the famed novelist, it’s the brainchild of Perth coffee connoisseurs and entrepreneurs Neil and Zac Barrett.
Focusing on quality through a few different avenues, they’ve imported specialty espresso equipment never-before-seen in Perth, with a carefully considered coffee and beverage program entrusted to a certified Q Grader or ‘Coffee Sommelier’.
It won’t be just all about the beans though, with the Neil and Zac collaborating with Chef Daniel Lim to curate a food menu to match Hemingway’s unique beverage offerings.
Think Crab & Prawn BLTs, Spanish Potato & Chorizo Pancakes and Lobster Roll specials on Fridays, made fresh thanks to some of Perth’s favourite suppliers like North Street Store, Raisin Bakery, Raw by Chris and Miller & Baker.
Owner Zac Barrett said, “Central Park is one of Perth’s largest office buildings, so we’re excited to bring a new, high-quality offering to the business district.”

Hemingway is the seventh collaboration between the pair, joining popular CBD haunts Mo Espresso, Mo Allendale, Max & Sons, Arlo By Mo, Balance Espresso and Jessie’s.
As an added bonus for those located in the Central Park building, staff and businesses can order online and have food and coffee delivered.
Hemingway Café opens today (Wednesday 26 August), and will be offering free coffees to the general public on Thursday 27 August.
