After Waiting 2 Years, The First Direct Flight From Melbourne To Busselton Touches Down Today!

After two years of delays for pretty obvious reasons, today marks Australia’s first direct flight into Busselton from Melbourne’s Tullamarine airport!

Today’s flight, landing in Busselton from Melbourne at 11.40am, makes Jetstar the first scheduled airline service flying directly from the east coast into this region.

The full flight touches down with 186 passengers on board, and marks a new era for tourism in the south west region.

After arriving at 11.40am, flight JQ900 becomes JQ901, heading back to Melbourne at 12.15pm.
