Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition Opens In Fremantle This Month!

Considered one of the world’s greatest works of art, the Sistine Chapel is finally making its way to Perth after travelling around the world. Not the chapel itself, of course – but a high-tech reproduction of its 34 frescoes.

Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition will allow you to experience the Renaissance master’s work like never before: reproduced utilising high-definition photos and innovating printing techniques that recreate the look and feel of the frescoes, you’ll be able to get up close with the artwork and see every minute detail.

If you’d like to really get in-depth, you can also rent an audio guide; taking 60-90 minutes, you’ll be immersed even further in the works’ rich history.

You’ll be able to experience this in the unique heritage-listed surrounds of Fremantle’s Naval Store – which you may recognise as the big octopus building.
