They may have been the final band to perform in the second Eurovision semifinal in Liverpool overnight, but it proved lucky last for Perth’s Voyager who have advanced to this weekend’s final!

Sequins and glitter were everywhere as they performed the single Promise, headbanging around a Back to the Future-style delorean car.

The band were understandably elated after finding out, posting on social media to say:

“GRAND FINAL HERE WE COME!!!!

🇦🇺
🤘
🍾
🎸
🚗
WE PROMISE YOU IT’S GONNA BE ALRIGHT!!!! Thank you to our incredible team and everyone who voted for us. Holy moly.”

Another Australian, Andrew Lambrou, is also through to the final, albeit representing his homeland Cyprus.

They join the likes of Albania, Lithuania and Poland in this Sunday’s grand final, which will be screening at 3am AWST on SBS TV and SBS On Demand.
