Give The Gift Of A Donation This Year To The Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Christmas Appeal

It’s that time of year where we dig into our pockets to buy gifts for those we love, and it’s also a wonderful opportunity to share that love with others who need it. One excellent charity to do exactly that is the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Christmas Appeal.

One of many children’s stories they’re sharing this year is that of Imogen’s (pictured, above), who has a condition called Fanconi anaemia, meaning her bone marrow is making abnormal blood cells. This has resulted in an array of physical impacts like hip problems and a hole in her heart along with a severely increased chance of developing cancer on account of her barrow marrow functioning at only 10%. After being initially told she would have to relocate to Sydney or Seattle to get life-saving treatment, she’s now able to stay at Perth Children’s Hospital in WA thanks to Foundation funding in recent years!

For children and families like Imogen’s who are living with the uncertainty of cancer, it’s incredibly difficult – especially at Christmas – and your donation today makes a huge different to kids like Imogen and the over a hundred other children admitted to PCH every year for cancer and blood disorders.
