Perth Comedy Festival announces 2024 dates and first two headliners
If we ever felt like we needed a laugh it’s now more than ever, and there’s a good chance we’ll probably feel the same way by the time the Perth Comedy Festival returns to Perth next year.
After a massive 2023 edition, they’re bringing back some of the best local, national and international comics together for a month of laughs from April 22-May 19, 2024, taking over The Regal Theatre, Astor Theatre, The Rechabite and Freo.Social.

To get your funny bones warmed up, they’ve announced a couple of serious headliners in the form of everyone’s favourite ogre-inspired parody show, Swamplesque, along with Brsibane funny man and co-host of popular podcast MID FLIGHT BRAWL, Luke Heggie.
The former will be bringing their award-winning and off-the-wall performance including burlesque, drag, musical theatre and even a little splash of opera.
On the opposite end of the spectrum is Heggie, whose deadpan humour comes to The Regal for one special night as he delivers his latest show, Grogan.
The Perth Comedy Festival Gala will also be back, featuring a dazzling lineup of international stars, Aussie legends and next-best-things for three nights at The Regal, while the Showcase event heads south to Freo.Social for three nights of its own.
Tickets are on sale now via perthcomedyfestival.com, with many more shows to be announced next month.
