We try not to toot our own horn very often, but every now and then you gotta celebrate the little things, and last week we found out we’d been shortlisted in this year’s Mumbrella Publish Awards for Website Of The Year.
If you don’t know Mumbrella, it’s essentially a marketing and media industry news website that each year hosts a couple of different awards ceremonies celebrating the marketing and publishing industries of Australia.
This year’s Publish Awards feature 28 different awards, and it turns out we were the only Western Australian-based entity to be shortlisted across the entire program.
Other nominated publishers and groups include The Guardian, Medium Rare Content, The Brag, Broadsheet and the Pedestrian Group.
Since launching the website just under four years ago, perthisok.com has gone from strength to strength with over 25 million visitors across the journey, to go with almost 5 million #perthisok hashtags on social media since its inception in 2014.
So yeah, we’re a little bit stoked, and have you legends to thank!
Oh and if you don’t hear from us again about this, it means we definitely did not win.
