Following its cancellation in 2020 (for understandable reasons), it has been confirmed that the beloved Perth Royal Show will return to Claremont Showgrounds in 2021, taking place from September 25 until October 2.
Not only that, but today the WA Government announced a $4 million funding grant for the Royal Agricultural Society OF WA, meaning ticket prices will be cut by 25%.

In a press statement released today Premier Mark McGowan said: “Covid has obviously been a difficult period. It’s meant a lot of these events have had a lot of trouble operating. These sorts of underwriting and financial support will mean these events can continue…
“I’d encourage Western Australians to visit this year’s Royal Show for an enjoyable day out with family and friends and to support the businesses and industry sectors recovering from the impacts of COVID-19.”
According to an article on PerthNow the grant will mean ticket prices for a family of four will drop down to around $55, single adult tickets down to $25.50 and kids around $13.
It comes with the commencement of Phase 5 tomorrow, where all remaining COVID-related capacity limits on WA venues will be removed.
