Ahoy! Pirate Life’s CBD Brewpub Is Opening Next Week!

Arriving just in time for some summer fun in the city, Pirate Life‘s CBD brewpub is finally opening its doors! First announced way back in September of 2019, the long-awaited project is helmed by the crew at Sneakers & Jeans. Self-titled “architects of revelry”, they’re the masterminds behind The Flour Factory, Hadiqa, Varnish on King and Caballitos: so we can expect good times, even better booze, and maybe a bit of raucous fun, too.

Opening next week, the brewery will be in the old Sony building on Murray Street, which has been lovingly redeveloped into a sprawling, multi-venue space. Stickman Tribe, founded by Perth-born Marcos Cain, has overseen the design of the new venue with S&J and Pirate Life to deliver a new standard in Perth hospitality.

Keeping beer at the forefront, Pirate Life’s casual brewpub will have a not-so-casual approach to good beer: the monster 15-metre main bar will have 16 Pirate Life taps (and another 20 to come). There’ll also be a casual fine dining element with TOMA, the Pirate Life’s restaurant with a slightly more refined edge – alongside two private dining rooms for your next special event. We can also look forward to two more areas opening next month, including a basement bar.
