Perhaps it’s a bit well, millennial of us… But we’re happy to admit that a rather significant cohort of the Perth is OK! offices are staunch, devoted, obsessive Mad Men fans.

Barely a day goes past without quotes flying across the room (“I don’t think of you at all!”) – so we were frankly delighted to learn that brand new Stan Originals series Population 11, starring Ben Feldman (Mad Men, Silicon Valley, Superstore) is about to hit our screens… And that it was shot right here in WA!

Filmed in Derby and releasing on March 14, Population 11 is a 12-episode comedic crime thriller that follows Andy (Ben Feldman), an American who comes to a tiny outback town to visit his long-lost father, only to discover that his father has vanished. In a town with a population of only 11, everyone becomes a suspect!

Created by AACTA Award-winner Phil Lloyd and developed in partnership with Lionsgate with major production investment from Screenwest, Lotterywest and the Western Australian Regional Screen Fund, behind the camera talent includes WA writer Zoe Pepper, WA director Ben Young (Hounds of Love, The Twelve), WA producer Melissa Kelly, Australian filmmaker Trent O’Donnell (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Hacks, New Girl) and many more.
