If you’ve missed out on the Scarborough Sunset Markets so far this summer season then we have some great news for you – as of next Saturday you’re gonna have nine days straight to get amongst the action!

In support of this year’s Australian Surf Life Saving Championships AKA The Aussies, the markets will run for nine consecutive days from Saturday 25 March until Sunday 2 April.

The event has become arguably Perth’s most consistently attended and adored weekly markets, and you can head down for the duration of The Aussies to experience all the local street eats, artisan stalls, live music, pop up bars and more that have made them that way.

In even more exciting news, roads will be closed to give way to pedestrian-first activity and enable local businesses to spill out into the streets, including The Lookout and Rendezvous offering pop up bars and al fresco dining.

There’ll also be a special live music stage hosting local artists from 12pm until 8pm daily, and local DJs setting up shop all over the place to keep the grooves going.

“We’re thrilled to host the special Aussies Edition of the Scarborough Sunset Markets,” said Wayne Bowen, Chair of the Scarborough Beach Association. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the best of what Scarborough has to offer, while also supporting the athletes and visitors of the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships.”
