One of Western Australia’s most popular public events, Sculpture By The Sea, has just announced its return to the sands and surrounds of Cottesloe beach this March.

Now in its 19th year, Sculpture By The Sea 2023 will feature over 70 artists from 15 different countries across 18 days from March 3-20.

Heavy Duty – Beach Goals (2022)

Each year the exhibition attractions upwards of 180,000 local, interstate and international visitors to WA’s most iconic beach.

Of the 70+ artists exhibiting their works, 31 sculptors will be represented from Western Australia, alongside all other Australian states and territories and further abroad including Japan, New Zealand, USA and Switzerland.

Voxlab – Prickel (2023)

Among many renowned names appearing, this year sees Peter Lundberg (USA), Takahiro Hirata (Japan) and Greg Johns (Australia) being welcomed into the Decade Club – recognising artists who have exhibited at Sculpture by the Sea ten or more times.
