There’s no time like the present to get the bikes out and hit the pathways of Perth – the days are mild, sunny and just begging for some outdoor activities.

Given recent circumstances, there is a good chance your kids (and you!) may have been feeling a little cabin fever-ish over the past few weeks.

Now is the time the get the bikes out of the shed and get some fresh Autumn air, and WestCycle want to help make it interesting with the Great #WABikeHunt.

It’s a free, online, printable resource designed to encourage exploration of the local neighbourhood.

The Hunt checklist (which you can download HERE), lists 10 points of interest for the kids to find around your local area.

Places like the local park, school, teddy bear trails, red brick houses and more that can be found almost anywhere around WA neighbourhoods will become a game for you and the kids to help get some fresh air and exercise (whilst practicing safe social distancing of course).

WestCycle also want to make it exciting for you this weekend, asking families to complete the hunt using the #WABikeHunt hashtag and go in the running to win 1 of 10 Family Ride Memberships valued at $185!

The membership offers 24/7 cycling cover for the whole family, along with a host of other great benefits that support WA bike riders and the riding community – learn more HERE.

The competition closes at midnight Tuesday 5 May, with winners announced on Thursday the 7th.

Competition or not, getting outside among the neighbourhood, fresh air and sunshine sounds like a real winner to us.
