It feels like forever ago when we first heard rumours about the stunning-looking Van Gogh Alive multi-sensory experience making its way to Perth.
But without anymore information beyond “it’s coming”, we’ve been waiting patiently for some official news, and that day has finally come!
Produced by Grande Experiences, Van Gogh Alive will be opening in Perth at the Supreme Court Gardens for limited season from May 27!
A multi-sensory experience for the whole family, Van Gogh Alive is a large-scale, digital exhibition inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the seminal artist’s works, surrounded by a “vibrant symphony of light, colour, sound and fragrance.”
So far it’s been visited by over 8 million people in over 75 cities around the world, and creator Bruce Peterson is understandably pretty proud: “It was the very first of its kind in the world…
“Van Gogh Alive has really redefined the way many people around the world engage with art and culture and it has brought tremendous pleasure to audiences old and young, experienced and inexperienced in art and culture.”
Tickets go on sale this Thursday, and you can get more info here.
