Want to win the $100 million Powerball jackpot this Thursday? Grab a Slikpik, says Lotterywest
Lotterywest has revealed that of the 53 lucky West Aussies who have taken out a Division One prize in 2023, over 70% did so buying a Slikpik.
The news comes ahead of this Thursday’s massive $100 million Powerball jackpot, with Lotterywest also suggesting a syndicate offers the best chance of getting amongst the riches.
“Whether you opt for a Slikpik or like to choose your numbers, our advice is to get your friends, family or work colleagues together and organise a syndicate,” said Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney.
And look, we’re inclined to try and get any kind of leg-up we can, with those 53 winners this year sharing the spoils of a combined $166 million, including a $40 million Powerball win in March.

If you didn’t know, Slikpik tickets are where the numbers are randomly selected, and an 18 game Slikpik made up seven of the Division One winners, followed by 12 and 50 game Slikpiks creating six winners.
The $40 million March win came from Spring News in Bennet Springs, and was you guessed it, an 18 game Slikpik.
Tickets for this week’s $100 million Powerball jackpot are available in-store, online and via the app before 6pm Thursday.
And thanks to this latest Powerball run, over $12 million has been put back into the community via the Lotterywest grants program.
