Watch the trailer for a new feature film shot around Perth and inside Magnet House

Some of you may or may not recall a big callout for extras way back in 2021 for an upcoming feature film, It Only Takes A Night, which was being filmed around Perth.

A major part of that filming took place inside Magnet House, which looks to be a key player in the plot of the film, if the trailer released this week is anything to go by.

Directed by Callan Durlick and starring Aussie actress Eliza Taylor (Neighbours, The 100) the film follows four friends on a wild night who “end up on a path none of them expected and find it only takes one night to find true love.”

Which to be fair, sounds a little bit corny, but we’re always into Perth getting showed off to the world, and so is Magnet House owner and NightOwl Entertainment CEO David Heaton:

“I’m thrilled to announce that Magnet House was chosen as the filming location for the captivating nightclub scenes in the feature movie, It Only Takes A Night,” he said.

“Seeing our venue showcased on the big screen to a global audience is a testament to the vibrant and unique atmosphere NightOwl Entertainment created here. It’s great to be a part of this cinematic journey.”

The film premieres in LA later this week, before making its way down under to Reading Cinemas on August 15.
