New Western Australia Visitor Centre to open at Perth Station mid-next year
A new Western Australia Visitor Centre will open in mid-2025 at Perth Station, offering personalised advice and services for tourists, the WA Government has announced.
The centre will serve as a one-stop shop for tourism around the State, highlighting experiences and attractions throughout WA, as well as local materials and Aboriginal artwork upgrades.
“We are so fortunate to have such an incredible range of natural attractions, landscapes and experiences right throughout the State, from experiencing Rottnest Island and the Swan Valley in the city to visiting world-class wineries in the South West or swimming with whale sharks at Ningaloo up north,” said Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti.
“It’s really important that visitors to Western Australia are able to easily understand what’s on offer when they first visit WA and be able to book those experiences on the spot, which is what this new hub will do.”

The new centre will be located at Perth Station to provide a convenient location for visitors arriving by train, including increasingly-popular Airport Line services.
There will be tourism operator brochure displays, along with consulting areas for detailed itinerary planning and an improved in-person experience.
WA design team State 28 has been taped for the design and aesthetic of the centre, which will be made with predominately locally-sourced materials.
They’ll also be working with a to-be-commissioned Noongar artist to create a mural artwork to weave throughout the centre.
