The spookiest Halloween events around Perth this month

We’ve made it no secret that we’re pretty excited for spooky season this and every year!

We’ve already rounded up Perth’s haunted places and urban legends… and now we’ve got you covered with a huge list of spooky events happening throughout October, including halloween themed markets, halloween parties, a gym halloween special and more.

Fright Fortnight @ Rooftop Movies (Oct 19-Nov 3)

Rooftop Movies is going all in on Spooky Season with a huge two week Fright Fortnight program, with a huge selection of new scary stories and all faves including Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, The Shining, Jennifer’s Body and more. If you’re really looking to party on Friday 1 November get along to a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show – with DJs spinning before and after.

Halloween Twilight Market @ Supreme Court Gardens (Oct 25)

Supreme Court Gardens will be transformed into a bustling market featuring unique handmade goods, live music, taste-tempting food and plenty of ghostly, crazy fun. Don’t be surprised to see stalls being run by goblins, zombies, unicorns, fairies and all things fanciful. Get dressed up to win prizes – it’s a safe, family-friendly environment with fur babies welcome too! More info here.

Taking Back Saturday @ The Rechabite (Oct 25)

Round up Miss Murder and all the Nearly Witches because this is a pop punk and emo halloween, with all your fave sad-bangers on the d-floor, best dressed competition, Halloween decor and visuals, gifts for the first 100 people, sing alongs and more. The Labyrinth @ Loop

Lose yourself in ‘The Labyrinth,’ an immersive Halloween maze and experience like no other with over 100 metres of twists, turns, and terror awaiting you in this expansive installation that sprawls across the Loop Nightclub Carpark and Main Room. Grab tickets here and enter at your own risk!

Ghost Train @ The Rechabite (Oct 26)

The next night you can trade the emo getup for some ravewear as Garbage and NestFM team up for Ghost Train feat. MCMLXXXV, DJ Swisha and DJ G2G. A bunch of your d-floor faves come together for a night of hauntingly good dance, spine-tingling performances, thrills and chills, into a haunted house filled with eerie lighting, fog-filled dance floors, and décor to die for. Rave to the Grave @ The Court (Oct 26)

Get ready for, hair-raising Halloween attractions and decorations, blood-curdling visuals, scary fairy floss, spooky popcorn, and grisly drink specials. Outrageous outfits and frightful frocks strongly encouraged with a $200 voucher up for grabs. Running from early afternoon into a long night of horrors, grab tickets here.

The Edison Bar (Oct 26)

It’s a 393 Murray Street venue takeover with a night full of ceremonial blood including horrifyingly risque live shows, Tarot readings, tattoo parlour, roving performers and more throughout the Magnet House, Edison and Amplifier. Grab your tickets here.

The Haunted Big House @ Metropolis Fremantle (Oct 26)

Fremantle’s biggest venue is turning into a gigantic haunted house for one spooky night with a spooky silent disco in the laneway, hair-raising surprises throughout the night, prizes for best dressed and more. Free entry between 8-11pm in if you’re in costume!

Freaks on the Beach @ Port Beach Brewery (Oct 26)

Party with the Freaks on the Beach at Port Beach Brewery this Halloween with an absolutely STACKED lineup of tribute bands to help you rage against the machine. Local crews will be tackling the tunes of Rammstein, System of a Down, Metallica, Faith No More, Limp Bizkit, Alice in Chains, Linkin Park and Five Finger Death Punch, with the Carny Crew DJs filling the gaps. Club Club Launch @ The Court

AQWA’s famous Kooky Creatures Party is back for some family-friendly and freaky festivities from 5:30pm for this special aquarium by night event. Visitors will encounter an eerie underwater world with some of the slimiest and strangest marine creatures of the deep while enjoying a fun night of tricks and treats along the way.
