The City Of Joondalup has just announced Whitfords Nodes Park in Hillarys will soon be levelling up even further in the fitness depart with the addition of a park warrior obstacle course!

The Health & Wellbeing Hub is already home to their own version of Jacbob’s Ladder, a 145-step stairway structure running the scrubby dunes, and now it will lay clam to a mega course for people 12 years and over:

Joondalup Mayor Albert Jacob is looking forward to adding more challenges to the hub: “The Whitfords Nodes Health and Wellbeing Hub has undoubtedly been one of the City’s great success stories and this new infrastructure will only add to the park’s reputation as the best outdoor fitness hub in Perth.”

“Our City recognises the vital role recreational activities play in building and engaging communities and enhancing community spirit,” he continued. “In these times of COVID-19, never has it been more important for people to get outside in the fresh air to undertake some exercise.”

Construction commences in August and is expected take about two months to complete. The stairway and fitness equipment will remain open during construction.
