A fast-rising hidden gem amongst the Northbridge dining set, James St Bar + Kitchen in the DoubleTree By Hilton is really stepping things up in 2021.
Firming as a fantastic start point for drinks and meals with friends before going onwards and outwards into the nightlife district, James St rock a great breakfast menu in the mornings before switching it up with grill, tapas and cocktails in the evening.
Whilst they cover a variety of vibes including American faves, Asian-fusion and modern Australiana, Friday 12 March Executive Chef Kevin Garcia wants to take you on a WA Made Seafood Buffet journey.
Engaging their favourite local suppliers, you can enjoy the likes of:

- Marinated green lip mussels;
- ½ shell Shark Bay scallop w/ salsa verde;
- Baby crawfish;
- Fremantle calamari cous cous salad;
- Tuna Nicoise salad;
- Slow cooked beef ragu;
- WA snapper fillet, saffron cream and capers;
- Roasted local butternut pumpkin w/ sage;
- And much more.
There’ll also be some live acoustic tunes courtesy of popular local artist Romy B, along with James St’s excellent beer and wine selection to go with some killer cocktails like their dangerous DoubleTree Cookie Martini.
Best of all, its location in the DoubleTree by Hilton in Northbridge makes it very easy to make a little staycay of things, featuring some signature warm chocolate chip cookies on arrival.
