Valentine’s Day – corporate holiday or chance to show your loved ones how much you love them? Either way, it’s nice to do nice things with the people you care about, and if it so happens to be on February 14, then we say go for it! We understand how difficult it can be to find something to do with or somewhere to take your S.O. on Valentine’s Day, which is why we’ve done a bit of the leg work for you and listed a bunch of potential ideas…

Dine A Little Differently at UMA or Ten Acre Block

Underneath the Pan Pacific Hotel in East Perth you’ll find two of Perth’s best restaurants, both hosting delicious Valentine’s dinners. You can celebrate in Peruvian style at UMA’s Dia del Amor, with a bespoke four course set menu including Tiradito Verano, Cone Bay barramundi cured with a zesty aji amarillo, mango leche de tigre, Executive Sous Chef Xerxes’ Bodhanwala and a complimentary Chi Chi Pisco cocktail on arrival. If vegan dining is more your flavour, award-winning plant-based restaurant Ten Acre Block is also putting on a four set set menu curated by Head Chef Gianni Moretto, featuring a strawberry and basil mojito on arrival – yum!

Book UMA here and Ten Acre Block here.

Bask In One Of Perth’s Beautiful Wine Courtyards

We’re not sure if “wine courtyards” is a thing or not, but we coined the phrase late last year and it’s turned into one of our MOST VIEWED ARTICLES. Nothing beats a leafy, shady courtyard + wine combo with a loved one, and Perth’s got plenty to choose from.

Darts And Love Hearts

Book a spot for you and your lover at Flight Club this Valentine’s Day and quote ‘val day’ when booking to score a free trophy cocktail to share, then dart the night away.

Take A Together Hike

Long walks on the beach are so passé – tough, intense bush walks are the way of the future. Just joking…kinda. We do love getting out into nature these days, and Perth has plenty of great walking trails both close to the city and a little further out. Plus there’s plenty of options for the slightly more serious adventurer, just decide early who is in charge of the map and don’t forget the water and sunscreen!
