Eternal MMA have announced a stacked Perth card for February 2024, featuring four title fights and a list of Perth fighters.

Eternal 82 is booked for February 10th at HBF stadium and is set to showcase a Perth-based fighter in each of its scheduled title fights.

The main event of the evening sees Eternal lightweight champion and Perth’s own Quillan Salkilld look to defend his title against Queensland’s “Street Buddha” Dom Mar Fan. This will be the second time the pair have faced off, the first being in 2022, when Salkilld submitted Mar Fan in the third round via rear naked choke.

Salkilld is entering this bout on a five-fight win streak, his last fight being a decision win over Brett Pastore in October. Mar Fan has won three straight since his loss to Salkilld, his last win being a submission victory over Michael Stanoff in November.

Perth fighter and Eternal bantamweight champion Rod Costa is set to defend his title against Alan Philpott. This will be Costa’s first fight at bantamweight since winning the title, as his last two fights have been losses at featherweight, including an attempt to become a two divisional champion when he faced Eternal featherweight champion Justin Van Heerden.

Eternal flyweight champion Anthony Drilich is set to face South Australian Jake Hearl for Drilich’s 56.7 kilo title. Drilich won the vacant title in his last fight when he submitted Frank Jankowski in the fourth round. Hearl enters this fight as the Diamondback flyweight champion – a promotion in Hearl’s native town of Adelaide.

In the first title fight of the night, Perth local Aldin Bates will take on former champion Kaleb Rideout for the vacant Eternal welterweight championship. Bates enters the matchup on a two fight win streak, his last loss being at the hands of Perth UFC superstar Jack Della Maddalena in 2020.

Rideout is a former welterweight champion who is returning to the cage following an ankle injury that has
kept him out of competition for nearly year.

Eternal 82 will be held at HBF stadium in Perth on February 10 th and will mark Eternal’s first event for 2024 – grab your tickets via Ticketmaster.
