The golden triangle scores X-citing new golf simulator with licensed bar, pool tables
Another new golf simulator venue has opened its doors just outside Perth’s CBD, and it’s looking pretty schmick.
X-Golf Nedlands has six simulator booths, a licensed bar and a pool table set-up, and has already proved a hit with locals.
The venue is WA’s fifth X-Golf location and joins a growing list of other simulators hire venues in Perth, adding to an increasingly popular pastime.
Owners of the Nedlands site Belinda Airey, Tanya Wall and Nicole Jameson have turned the space into a modern, sleek bar, fitting into the golden triangle area like a glove.
Located on Stirling Highway, just 10 minutes from Perth CBD, X-Golf Nedlands is an exciting addition to the area and much better use of the space than the abandoned underground garage that was its predecessor.
“It was quite intuitive; a golf simulator that can help us get better at a game that we all love that has a bar attached to it seemed like a natural thing to have in our neighbourhood,” Jameson told Perth Now this week.
“We’re feeding something that the neighbourhood desperately needed in an indoor activity for families, for sports people, for mums and for schools that the western suburbs just didn’t have access to.”
Golf nuts can take on iconic courses like Pebble Beach, St Andrews Old and New, Kingston Heath, Evian Resort, Bay Hill and many more.

As well as that, new players can get lessons from PGA Professional Glenn Paul who will be coaching out of the venue.
“Simulator golf is gaining huge popularity in both Australia and overseas and I believe X-Golf has made the game more accessible and fun for everyone,” X-Golf Nedlands Manager Oliver Cameron told GolfWA.
“The Nedlands area has long been waiting for a recreational space that enables everyone to come together in a fun and laid-back environment. We encourage everyone to come down and try it out for themselves.”
