After a weekend they’d probably like to forget on the field, Fremantle Dockers have some good news today with the news of another collab brew with their pals at Pirate Life.

Following on from the success of their Wharfie Draught collaboration last year, the Dockers and Pirate Life are back with a new brew, Purple Hazy, a pale ale celebrating the club’s annual Purple Haze fundraising game.

“Following on from the success of the Wharfie Draught, it’s very exciting to partner up with the Fremantle Football Club again, this time in support of Purple Haze Round,” said Pirate Life Founder Michael Cameron, pictured above with Dockers captain Alex Pearce and injured forward Matt Taberner.

“We see it as an amazing opportunity to showcase our beers while raising money for this fantastic cause.”

Pirate Life will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every Purple Hazy carton to the Purple Haze game’s fundraising efforts.

For the brewficianados out there, Purple Hazy is a filled with juicy fruit characters with aromas of tinned fruit and strawberries, “pouring sunny yellow with a gentle haze”.
