Freo drop their early-2000s inspired Retro Round jumper
While yesterday may have been a heartbreaking loss for Fremantle Dockers fans going down by just three points to Brisbane, today is a new day – and with it a new Retro Round jumper!

This year they’re throwing back to the early-2000s ahead of their Round 23 Retro Round class against Port Adelaide at Optus Stadium.
The tri-panel anchor away jumper was worn by the club from 2001 until 2005, and for a little bit of historical context it debuted in an Ansett Cup match in February of 2001.
The new-old merch also gifts us this stunning photoshoot, though we do wait with bated breath to see which media outlets will come after them for daring to do something other than train 24 hours a day, seven days a week…
As far as iconic moments go in the jumper’s history, Justin Longmuir kicked a bag of six in 2003 against Melbourne wearing it, while Jeff Farmer’s seven-goal haul against his old side Melbourne in 2005 is also of note.
With a drop of player-issue replica streetwear coming later in this week, keep your eyes peeled on the Dockers’ store to pick up your swag for a limited time only.
