West Aussie Jack Robinson takes out the Hurley Pro at Sunset Beach in Hawaii
Margaret River surfing sensation Jack Robinson has taken out the second World Surf League championship tour event of the season with an emphatic victory over Kainoa Igarashi in the final at Sunset Beach in Hawaii today.
Robinson had Igarashi trapped in a combo situation halfway into the final thanks to a massive 9.87/10 ride, on the way to a heat total of 18.04.

The win follows a disappointing first showing at Pipeline a couple of weeks ago (17th) for the Gage Roads-sponsored surfer, and rockets him back up the leaderboard.
Robinson overcame fellow Aussie Ryan Callinan on the semi-final on his way to the final.
Earlier in the day in the Women’s final Central Coast NSW surf prodigy Molly Picklum went one better than her Pipeline runner up result to beat Bettylou Johnson.
The WSL Championship Tour heads to Portugal next month and the MEO Rip Curl Pro at Supertubos.
