Western Force unveil 20th Anniversary jerseys with nod to the past and spirit of WA
The Western Force has today revealed its 2025 Super Rugby jerseys at their original home ground, paying homage to its storied history as the club marks season #20.
In a throwback to the OG design, the 2025 home jersey proudly returns to the signature periwinkle blue and gold.
In collaboration with Dynasty Sport, Western Force sent legendary player Matt Hodgson’s original jerseys to Dynasty’s New Zealand-based team, sparking a fresh but nostalgic look, with the home kit reviving the beloved periwinkle blue with a sleeve and back layout inspired by the original, including the iconic black swan swoosh.
Golden player numbers also make a comeback on the jersey’s back, accompanied by the original Force logo at the base.
The 2025 clash kit takes on a golden hue with player numbers in periwinkle blue, echoing the home design, with both jerseys featuring a First Nations design along the side strip and a Maali (black swan) embroidery on the front, symbolising the deep connection with Western Australia’s heritage.
“The 2025 season is a landmark year for the Club as we celebrate our 20-year history, underlined by the spirit of Western Australia,” said Force CEO Niamh O’Connor. “We carry the essence of WA: grit, resilience, and relentless excellence. These jerseys celebrate all players who have worn them and the fans who never gave up on us.”
