Every now and then an absolutely pure slice of luxury pops up in our constant searching for new accommodation options that we can barely pick our jaws up off the floor, and Latitude 35°5 is absolutely one of those times.
Located in Goode Beach, just over 20km from Albany, this incredibly stylish holiday homes sleeps eight, perched atop a granite outcrop surrounded by the stunning Torndirrup National Park (which you’ll get to enjoy thanks to panoramic 260° views).
We’ve seen down south luxury before but this place truly takes it to another level, with an expansive master suite, three equally delightful guest bedrooms, huge entertaining areas, a 10-person dining room, big, cosy fireplace and even a 160-bottle wine cellar.
The wraparound balcony provides ample opportunity for not only sunset wines, but sunrise coffees as this is one of only a few locations where the sun rises over the ocean in the morning!
The guest bedrooms are all well-appointed with king-size beds, great views and marble ensuites, you’ll want to shotgun the master suite upon arrival. It features a private, north facing balcony, coffee station, champagne fridge, walk-in robe and a free-standing bathtub with epic views of the surrounding bays.
And while we can’t imagine you’ll really want to leave, Latitude 35°5 basically gives you Goode Beach right on the doorstep, while you’re in rock-skipping distance of many of Albany’s must-do’s, like Frenchman Bay, The Gap and Natural Bridge, Limeburners Distillery and the wineries and beaches of beautiful Denmark.
