Look, we love a romantic getaway with our S.O. just as much as the next happy couple out there, but adding another couple to join in the fun never hurts. Cosy board games by the fire. Spreading out designated driver responsibilities when visiting wineries. Someone else to cook you breakfast in the morning…the possibilities are endless!

Well hit up that cool couple friend right now because we’ve found some rad little cabins in the southwest just waiting for a couple of couples (or a tight-knight group of mates). Koorabin Artisan and Gunyulgup Artisan are two identical houses, each sleeping four adults with beautiful big living areas overlooking a lake, complete with slow combustion fireplaces and large wall-mounted TVs.

The modern kitchen layout features a hidden fridge, up-to-date appliances, concrete island bench and electric oven perfect for that breakfast we were talking about, best enjoyed after emerging from one of the two large bedrooms featuring king-sized beds and ensuites with large open showers (plus a free-standing bath in the master bedroom).

The back verandah also has a barbecue and outdoor setting for perfect for a lazy sundowner, plus the area surrounding is filled with art galleries and fantastic wineries, while nearby Little Fish Restaurant is perfect if you don’t feel like cooking.
