Get Off Grid And Immerse Yourself In Pemberton In These Stunning Eco Glamping Tents
In the coming years we get the feeling the Pemberton/Walpole/Denmark Southern Forests region of Western Australia is going to become the location of choice for people keen to really get away from it all. No booujee high end clothing stores down that way, just sprawling valleys, fresh air, forest tranquility, walking trails, truffles and some beautiful wineries to wile the hours away.
And one fantastic-looking spot to do exactly that is at the Wandagar Eco Camp, featuring two luxe eco glamping tents designed with intimacy, privacy and peace and quiet in mind. There’s Carnaby’s Tent and Baudin’s Tent, designed for couples and able to be booked together if you’re keen on a little couple’s retreat!
The permanent safari tents have 180 degree views of the Pemberton farmland, vineyard and truffle orchard the tents are located on, along with an interior to die for: The open plan living space has all the comforts you’ll need in the south, including a rotating fireplace, lounge area, kitchenette, rainshower overlooking karri forest and queen beds draped in luxury linen.
Outside you’ll find a private seasonal firepit, and wildlife galore with birds including black cockatoos stopping by to say g’day. And when we say “off grid” we mean it – no TV, microwave, toaster, oven or coffee machine… It runs off solar power so you can only really charge small electronics, giving you more time to just enjoy the serenity, the stars, and your significant other. There is an outdoor camp cooker to cook your own meals on, boil a jug or grill your toast, and you’ll also receive a complimentary continental breakfast hamper with plenty of local goodies.
