These Cosy Little Cottages Down In Denmark Are Perfect Couples Retreat Material
As we’ve touched on in the past, in recent years Denmark has become the more laidback, chill down south alternative to Margaret River and Dunsborough. Kinda like what those places were like 15-20 years ago, thanks to being just a little bit further away.
The accommodation situation down in Denmark is catching up to that slowly increasing demand, but fortunately it’s more cosy little stays rather than big resort-style accommodation. Take William Bay Cottages, for instance.
Located close to Denmark hotspots Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks, they’re perfectly perched on a 330acre working farm adjacent to beautiful William Bay National Park. Featuring a private track running down to secluded Mazzoletti Beach along with other facilities, the cottages make for a relaxing, recharging stay option in WA’s beautiful southern corner.
The self-contained cottages range from one to three bedrooms, lovingly handcrafted from locally-sourced timber and stone, wonderfully hidden amongst the region’s spectacular karri and peppermint forests. Each unit is equipped with a patio, a fully-equipped kitchen, fireplace, seating area, flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. A fridge, an oven and stovetop are also provided, as well as a kettle.
