We’re over the mid-winter hump, and in a year like no other spring is looming as a fantastic time to reset, recharge and refresh your mind and body.

And in the interest of keeping things fresh, we’ve teamed up with Crowne Plaza Perth to humbly suggest East Perth as the place to do it.

Below you’ll find 10 pretty damn great (if we do say so ourselves) ideas to help you get in a fresh spring frame of mind, from secret gardens and Girls School Cinemas to farmers markets and wonderful walks.

Discover The CBD’s Own Secret Garden

Everyone loves to rave about Perth’s “secret garden”, but did you know we have one a lot closer to home?

Okay so Queens Gardens may not actually be a secret, but we fully feel it’s an un-discovered gem that deserves more love.

The gardens were officially opened way back in 1899, and it’s beautiful lily-filled lakes, perfectly manicured lawns and lush trees and shrubbery make it the perfect spot for a peaceful pit stop.

Keep an eye out for the Peter Pan statue too – it’s a replica of the same statue in London’s famed Kensington Gardens.

If you’re looking for a home base to enjoy all the secrets East Perth has to offer, consider a staycation at the 4.5-star Crowne Plaza Perth.
