Been To The New Basso Yet? They’re Throwing A Huge 3-Day Welcome Party This Weekend!
After a major $7 million renovation, The Bassendean Hotel finally made its long-awaited return with a revitalised new look last month, much to the delight of locals and visitors alike.
Open since 1930, they worked extensively with acclaimed architect Woods Bagot alongside local historians to carefully restore the beloved watering hole, careful to keep its character while adding a few modern touches across six impressive bars, two kitchens and nine unique zones.
And this weekend they’re throwing the doors wide open for a big old Welcome Weekend!
On Friday 14 October it’s all about live music, with acoustic acts from 4pm before popular Perth party starters Threeplay hit the stage at 8pm.

Saturday 15 October there’s a very special Saloon Bar Keg shout happening from 4:30pm, with the Basso putting on free middies of Nail Brewing until the keg runs run dry!
Finally on Sunday it’s a huge day of family fun from 12pm until 4pm, including face painting, balloon twisting and clowns in the courtyard, plus they’ll be bringing in some delicious goodies from Last Crumb Cake Co.
Of course you can always get down earlier for a beer – the Bassendean is open from 11am during the week and 10am on weekends, head to their website for more info.
