Perth Parmi Hunters Lookout: The Vic Park Hotel Has Six Delicious Varieties For You To Tackle
We’re no strangers to Perth’s passionate feelings about parmis – and we’re always on the hunt for a new one to try. And while many are sticklers for tradition, we’re down for just about anything as long as it’s tasty.
That’s just one of the reasons our hearts were all a-flutter to hear that Victoria Park Hotel has expanded their parmi offering to include not just one, not two, but six parmi options on their already well-stacked menu of modern Aussie pub fare.
As well as a classic option with smoked leg ham, mixed cheese and Napoletana sauce for the traditionalists (and yes, traditional means ham), you can also mix things up with a trip around the globe.
Taste a hint of Madrid with grilled chorizo, napoletana sauce, Manchego mix and fresh basil (pictured, above), or get a twist on the traditional with the Florence, featuring confit zucchini, brie, mozzarella and napoletana.
Otherwise you can get in a heated debate over the Hawaiian, topped with chargrilled pineapple (which we’re in favour of for the record), take a trip to the mainland with some pulled brisket and barbecue, or finally – for the vego’s out there – you’ve got a saucy grilled eggplant number (pictured, below).

Can’t do Thursdays? The Vic Park Hotel also rock Trivia on Wednesdays, $15 Sangria Jugs on Sundays, $18 Steak Mondays and Happy Hour every day from 4.30-5.30pm, including $8 pints and Espresso Martinis!
